MASS TORT LIEN RESOLUTION
Elmiron Lien Resolution
Elmiron is a drug used to treat bladder pain or discomfort associated with interstitial cystitis. The drug has come under fire recently for its potential link to serious eye damage in the forms of macular degeneration, pigmentary maulopathy, and retinal maculopathy. Although approved by the FDA in 1996, the product's label was only updated in June 2020 to inform users of potential vision problems. Potential plaintiffs include men and women ages 30+, although interstitial cystitis most often impacts women over the age of 40. The majority of healthcare liens most likely present in this case will be Medicare, Private Health Insurance, and Medicaid.
