When submitting subsequent/additional settlements to Medicare, resulting in multiple demands over time, it is important to compare all prior demands. Occasionally, we find that Medicare is duplicating charges on current demands which have already been fully reimbursed on prior demands. If a compromise has been granted previously, those demands should be excluded from consideration.
